Tell Governor Holcomb to VETO Permitless Firearm Carry Bill TODAY!
Recently, legislators decided to kill House Bill 1077, "Firearm Matters" with bipartisan support, yet in the last hours of the 2022 legislative session, legislators decided to re-insert the language from this bill to a different and unrelated bill (House Bill 1296) which has recently passed and is on its way to Governor Holcomb's desk to sign into law. If he passes this into law, this bill will repeal the requirement for a person to obtain a license to carry a handgun in Indiana.
Repealing the permitting requirement is irresponsible, reckless, and has increased gun violence in other states that have tried it. We need solutions to Indiana’s gun violence crisis, not policies that exacerbate it.
With your help we can ask legislators to keep our communities safe. Contact Governor Holcomb TODAY and tell him to veto HB1296.
Ask House Legislators to vote NO on HB 1077!
